In this role, you will reconcile, investigate and analyze multiple bank accounts on a daily basis. Monitor control processes. Manage and monitor control and process improvements. Ensure effetive implementation of these improvements. Oversee work of two other (junior/senior) reconciliation specialists and help develop the skills of those specialists. This position will also handle the most complex reconcilliation problems.

 

Responsibilities will also include:

 

·          Manage the overall reconciliation of all client funds accounts Much of this is accomplished through staff; however, some accoujnts and functions wil require the manager to do the reconciliation work.

·          Provide management, leadership, and developmental opportunities to team members

·          Fully document all controls and processes for client funds maintenance, monitoring and balancing. Identify, document and implement improvements to client funds controls, procedures and accounting, including those areas outside the direct reconciliation process that affect client funds

·          Identify and monitor significant system changes that impact client funds. Provide recommendations and requirements as to scope of changes and processes that are required to ensure orderly and uninterrupted control of client funds

·          Monitor the processes and outputs of other departments such as payment services and tax filing to ensure effecitve controls over client funds are maintained

·          Responsible for the overall daily client funds balance sheet is prepared timely and in accordance with GAAP. This position is responsible for ensuring the assets and liabilities are properly monitored and protected

·          Research, evaluate, recommend and help implement ways to improve efficiency of our processes, including collection & payment of funds and handling of exceptions and NSFs

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related discipline Three or more years with a strong focus on reconciling multiple bank accountsDemonstrated management/leadership skillsSolid understanding of GAAPStrong MS Excel knowledgeStrong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills Strong commitment to providing world-class Customer ServiceExcellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent telephone, communication and interpersonal skills
