Austin based company has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller. This individual will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, SOX compliance, oversight of A/P & Purchasing, budgeting and forecasting, analysis of financial metrics, and month end close. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 5 years of related experience in Accounting/Finance. Experience in public accounting and with a publicly-traded company is a plus. CPA designation is also preferred in addition to some SEC reporting experience. Strong communication skills and a flexible attitude are needed, as well as strong analytical skills.
