Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced accounting professional looking for the opportunity to become Assistant Corp Controller! The ideal candidate is someone who can assist the controller with the day to day accounting operations. Other responsibilities include timely and accurate completion of consolidated financial statements, supervision of the accounts payable and receivable departments, monitoring compliance filing for sales tax and income tax in various states, process improvement and other operational duties as assigned by the Corporate Controller.
Successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, along with 7 plus years of recent Accounting experience. Candidates that hold a CPA certification and have some public accounting experience are preferred. Must possess a solid understanding of GAAP, including complex issues, and have supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidate will have solid skills in detail, accuracy, and integrated manufacturing systems. Proficient PC/software abilities with Microsoft products, ERP, and excellent oral and written communication skills along with an energetic and positive attitude are required.
