Quickly expanding company in Johnson County is looking to supplement their accounting team with a talented Accounting Coordinator on a contract-to-hire basis.
Responsibilities:
Performs reconciliation on both payable and receivable accounts.
Perform month-end reconciliations and reporting.
Prepares and reviews entries to the general ledger while maintaining records and files.
Analyze information on multiple accounts, utilizing spreadsheets to develop reports.
Develops and records asset, liability, expenses and revenue by analyzing account information
Analyze and resolve issues with minimal supervision, communicating issues to managers.
Potentially assisting with payroll coordination.
Requirements:
2-5 years of general accounting experience
Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Strong in Excel and Word)
Experience with Accounting Software (Great Plains, PeachTree, etc.)
Knowledge of payroll systems a plus (ADP, Paychex, Millinium, etc.)
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
BA is Accounting or Finance preferred (additional 3-4 experience in lieu of degree)
