Our client, a leader in the manufacture of glazed and dry-creped tissue products, is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk. In this position you will be perfoming various accounting related duties as deemed necessary by the Controller such as daily, weekly and monthly reports, assisting with month end closings, inventory control, keying journal vouchers, accounts payable and various payroll functions. As with all employers our client has a 90 day probationary period but this position will become permanent for the right candidate. Hours are 8:00-5:00 or 7:30-4:30, whichever best suits your needs, M-F. This position is located in the Wiggins area and due to high gas prices it is preferable that the candidate live in that area. The perfect candidate will have a two year degree in accounting from an accredited college or a minimum two year verifiable experience or equivalent combination. Must be honest and must be dependable. This position requires passing a drug test, employment verification, criminal background check and satisfactory credit check.
