JOB SUMMARY
The position will play a dynamic role by combining the roles of accounting, financial analysis, and ERP systems administration. The individual will be responsible for managing the close process, financial forecasting, providing fundamental business analysis, and assisting to manage the ERP system. The individual will also have an understanding of cost accounting to assess inventory valuation and to determine inventory exposure levels.
The position will report to the corporate controller. The individual must be able to establish and meet deadlines for multiple priorities. In addition to managing processes, the individual will help research accounting pronouncements and assess their impact on the Company’s financials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Manage and streamline the close process and the generation of financial reports.
§ Forecast financial performance of key divisions.
§ Reconcile, analyze, and report on key balance sheet and income statement accounts and assist in providing management discussion and analysis narratives on the Company’s operating results.
§ Maintain accuracy of inventory reporting.
§ Prepare consolidation and elimination entries.
§ Utilize report writing software packages to support business analytics and to provide financial granularity.
§ Assist in the management of the ERP system and take a primary role in the implementation of future modules.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
§ Accounting degree or equivalent. CPA preferred but not required.
§ Perform responsibilities and tasks, timely, accurately and with attention to detail.
§ Ability to quickly become proficient in ERP systems and report writing software packages.
§ Strong Excel skills, including ability to use Pivot Tables and data lookup functions.
§ Must have extensive manufacturing experience, preferably in contract manufacturing.
§ The individual must have at least 7-10 years of financial accounting and cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
