Tosoh America, Inc. (TSAM) provides comprehensive centralized business services (Accounting, Finance, HR, IT) to several Tosoh Group companies in the United States. TSAM has an immediate opening available for an experienced Accounting Analyst to be located in Grove City, OH (suburb of Columbus, OH).

The responsibilities of the Accounting Analyst include the following:

Professional level position requiring oversight of all general ledger transactions and related internal controls.

• Participate in all aspects of the month-end close process including distribution of monthly reports for US subsidiary companies of Tosoh Corporation.

• Adherence to and application of US GAAP to the general ledger. Individual is responsible for ensuring proper statement and support of balance sheet accounts.

• Completion of monthly account reconciliations

• Completion of monthly bank reconciliations

• Experience with fixed asset tracking in a software system

• Handle wire transfers to suppliers and related parties through banking software

• Analyze and interpret results and communicate to management effectively

• Interaction and reconciliation of related party transactions with 8 subsidiary companies

Qualifications include:

• BS in accounting

• 3-7 years experience

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• High proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

• Well developed analytical skills

• Team player who is professional, mature, self-directed, and detail oriented
