THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall Objective:
Account Supervisors are responsible for all client initiatives and are responsible for positive client satisfaction. Account Supervisors manage specific Markets and/or Regions, taking responsibility for the functional application of all advertising strategies. Additionally responsible for building client relationships that result in an increase in C&F through effective and efficient advertising strategies. Account Supervisors act as the liaison between the agency and the client. He/she must be able to identify and communicate client needs and issues to the entire ZPA team. AE must also steward the management of all ZPA products (Z-trac, Auto Count, Media Monitors, etc) ensuring client is correctly utilizing, as well as analyzing and communicating the data these products produce.

To plan, organize, activate and control the day-to-day process within your group while bringing a perspective to strategy development and the execution of creative on behalf of your assigned clients. To work with these clients and the account group on various areas: competitive analysis, market review, new creative launches, media, market opportunities, account service, advertising planning, promotional opportunities, value-added product sales and services, billing and collections, and communication enhancement.

General Duties:
Link to Account Group/Client/Media Team/and all ZPA departments
Account Executive is a fully integrated member of the account group, working on a continuously involved basis.

Focus on account development process:

Responsible for developing account coordinators. Involved in strategy development for account planning and budgets, including creative execution, media placement and client presentation development (as needed). Manage the execution of new creative programs for individual clients based on market and competitive analysis. Responsible for setting and tracking all appropriate media and creative development timetables. Manage support departments and the group to ensure timely and accurate delivery of creative, billing, collections, and planning. Review and respond to all clients and sales results as required by ZPA policy. Attain assigned product and services penetration levels. Attend all relevant meetings (internal, external, and via phone conference) proactively disseminating information at all decision points and communicating to all appropriate ZPA management. Presentation of creative, media, promotion and merchandising elements to the client as needed. Promote growth in same-store commission and fees. Develop presentation modules for client use. Identify when market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights are required.

Media:

Work with Media department on presentations that can accomplish client sales goals. Work with Media department on identifying and delivering special opportunity programs. Work with media department on completing quarterly/annual media buys. Ensure the client media dollars are maximized through cost efficient buying and media mix. Present client media budgets accurately and on time for effective implementation. Communicate necessary estimate information to media department for accurate budgeting, being sure to give complete and clear direction including estimated production charges for radio, TV, and value-added products.

Account Service:

Day-to-day oversight of business. Work with account group to establish an effective dealer-oriented marketing program to gain support at the client management level. Display ongoing commitment and passion to client business through communication, responsiveness, and knowledge. Understand client market and translate this into strategic advertising and promotional plans. Understand and respond to client input. Ensure that monthly billings are accurate, client questions are resolved, and that invoices match budgets. Release ads with appropriate content and legal disclosures that correspond with overall client direction and have client's final approval. Release broadcast scripts with appropriate content and legal disclosures. Correct trafficking instructions that correspond with client direction and have client's final approval.Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent, relevant experience.
7+ years experience as an Account Executive/Supervisor in an advertising agency; automotive marketing experience (Tier 2-3) highly preferred.
Must be willing to travel throughout pre-determined region.
