Job Description:
Description: We are currently seeking an Account Manager for Molecular Imaging Biomarkers. The territory will be New York, Vermont, and Connecticut. This position will be responsible for but not limited to the following activities:
- Achieve sales and profitability goals for all products and solutions in the molecular imaging biomarker portfolio
- Work with Regional Sales Manager to develop overall territory sales plan and accurately forecast orders on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Develop and implement penetration strategies for existing and new market segments;
- Establish regular rapport with all stakeholders (CEO, CFO, COO, Purchasing, Medical Director, etc.) existing and prospective customer-base
- Knowledge of PETCT from a Clinical and Marketing perspective
- Assess customers' business model and creates solutions based on business plan, budget and clinical expectations
- Prepare negotiation options to insure the value proposition is effectively positioned once an order is closed, continues communication with all relevant internal and external customers to insure high customer satisfaction
- Participative interface with full-line sales team to provide consultative, comprehensive value selling for all preclinical imaging and biomarker products and solutions
- Keep current on industry trends and competitive products and solutions
- Responsible for managing expenses to budget.

Requirements: A BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree and/or 5-8 years experience within the PETCT industry. Previous sales experience in biomarkers preferred; verifiable experience selling at multiple levels and multiple segments in the healthcare market; accustomed to extended sales cycles; outstanding presentation skills; proven successful relationships with service team and organization; strong executive level selling, negotiation and facilitation skills; and solid financial analysis skills for proformas. A willingness to travel a minimum of 60% throughout the territory is required. Applicant is required to leave within the established territory.
