Octagon is the premier global sports and entertainment marketing division of The Interpublic Group of Companies, one of the world's largest advertising and marketing communications groups.

Octagon's Charlotte, NC office is seeking an Account Manager. The principal responsibilities of this position include supporting the Sprint Sponsorship team to leverage and develop sports content through Sprint technology and products, specifically around the NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile application. Position requires significant interaction with Sprint's product team.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Communicate and reinforce Sprint Sponsorship and Brand strategies within the NASCAR product and content landscape, including WAP, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile and NASCAR Sprint FanView Facilitate and manage development process of NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile, including assisting Sprint Product team with sponsorship insights and strategy Recommend and oversee all handset marketing tactics for NASCAR product/content, including tracking and measurement as applicable Work with NASCAR and Sprint to determine opportunities to secure NASCAR-related content offerings via Sprint products and services Identify synergies across the Sprint sponsorship portfolio to leverage best practices Support major national product/content programs and marketing efforts Assist NASCAR Marketing/Promotions teams and the Octagon Regional Team to integrate product and content initiatives into platforms Report all program recaps and results

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Minimum of 4-5 years related experience (some technology experience preferred, but not required) Comfort with communication-based and cutting-edge technologies NASCAR experience is required Agency experience is required Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Ability to handle multiple projects at one time Ability to travel as required
