NFF is seeking an effective Account Manager to help expand our growth in the marketplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling technology solutions in the areas of networking, IP Convergence, Network Management, Network Security and Wireless. The sales processes include establishing face-to-face meetings with potential clients, engaging engineering resources to assist with effective presentation of appropriate solutions, writing proposals, and obtaining signed contracts.
Job Description:
Responsible for selling Networking and Data Integration Services to Industry Accounts. Accountable to all aspects of identifying, forecasting, and closing new opportunities within these accounts and managing the relationship at all levels. Will be held accountable for understanding all market and competitive conditions within the industry, and developing and executing a strategy for further penetrating accounts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for vertical account penetration, customer satisfaction, territory management, and sales growth for long-term results.
· Develops and plans territory strategies and activities for accounts such as, selecting accounts, selecting services for calls, identifying buyer influences, overcoming objections, introducing new services, making sales presentations and negotiating.
· Provides customer and competitor feedback to management.
· Attend and participate in industry sales conferences and trade shows.
· Requires complex selling skills and responsibility.
· Responsible for meeting quotas, prospecting and selling with key partners, and maintaining and growing existing accounts.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or related field required.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 5-8 years of previous experience selling Information Technology Integration, Outsourcing, or Management Consulting Services.
· 5-10 years of sales experience.
· 3-5 years of industry experience.
· 2-3 years of services sales experience.
· Strong knowledge of industry, service and enterprise products, and proactive selling skills.
· A proven track record of sales success at the Senior Executive level with Fortune 5000 companies.
· Action-oriented, results-oriented, "take charge" attitude, with the capability of developing a strong business case for client action and the skills to bring those actions to a close.
· Experience dealing with objections.
· Strong organizational and planning skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to operate remotely and travel.
· Requires proven selling ability at the highest level in previous positions.
· The successful sales professional must demonstrate a proven sales track record as well as verifiable prior sales records past 3 years income.
Highly Desirable:
· Previous experience with a networking solution provider or manufacturer.
· Experience in marketing to Banking/Finance, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical industries.
· Proven experience in marketing Cisco products and solutions industries.
· Experience selling to the Federal and/or Local Government is a plus.
