The Account Manager will focus on the training & support of our Formative Products. Formative Products help school districts, teachers and parents track student performance across three kinds of tests: state exams, district benchmarks, and classroom tests. These products automatically grade tests and gives districts the data they need to improve classroom instruction and student performance. This position will provide account management support in Southern California.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: This position will provide support and implementation service to school districts to assist them in making excellent data driven decisions using a proven technology platform and other Riverside product offerings. As the Account Manager your primary focus is to convert our customers into enthusiastic users so they’ll continue to utilize our services. After the initial sale, you will be the primary point of contact for the customer, maintaining and building the client relationship. You will become an extension of their team working with teachers, principals, and administrators to help them improve their students’ learning and meet their educational needs in a distance learning environment.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Deliver all planning and training sessions on time and with quality, with a primary focus on distance learning techniques. - Manage and deliver distance learning implementations for small school districts including the launch of the technology platform, set up of the district in the system, identification of key contacts, scheduling of planning and training, issue resolution, and ongoing consulting. - Ensure we hit group goals and work closely with team members to achieve them, such as renewals, training goals, and identification of expansion/up sell opportunities. - Provide ongoing customer experience and perspective to the Account Management team. - Work with Senior Account Management to set personal performance goals, which are aligned to company, departmental, and regional goals. - Other duties as assigned. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: - Travel up to 50% - Strong presentation skills; detailed oriented - Proficient with educational technology; MS Office Suite
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Required: BA/BS; 5 years of teaching experience; Corporate training experience; Account management experience; Experience with data interpretation in educational environment.
Preferred: MA/MS; Project management experience with school districts; Experience implementing school reform initiatives; Experience utilizing adult learning theories in training situations; Proficiency in MS Project and Visio.
