Job Description
Responsible for managing an existing customer book of business and for the acquisition of new business within a given region. These responsibilities also include researching, developing, and penetrating a given territory in order to market and sell Transportation and Translation Services as well as Durable Medical Equipment and Home Health Services to the Workers’ Comp industry to small and mid-size Insurance Carriers, TPA’s Managed Care Organizations and Self-Insured/Self Administered.
Principle Accountability
Managing existing book of business to ensure customer satisfaction and increase penetration of sales.Prospect and qualify potential purchasers of services of both new and assigned list of targets within an assigned region.Identify and establish relationships with Managers, Supervisors and adjusters who purchase services directly, and understand internal process and politics.Develop sales strategy, present prospect solutions and brings closure to new sales.
Qualification and Experience
Experience in the workers’ Compensation, medical equipment, or healthcare industry is a plus.Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Focused on providing high-level customer satisfaction.A dedicated and hard worker with a healthy positive attitude towards individual, team and company goals.Ability to organize, make adaptations as company grows.Able to initiate cold calls, generate leads, and prospect new business.Strong planning and problem solving skills.Bachelor’s degree preferredMust have knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
The ideal candidate is a motivated and energetic sales professional with ability to prospect, close and maintain business account. This position requires strong communication skills and a minimum of 3 years sales or recent college graduate in lieu of experience and account management experience; B2B, healthcare or insurance experience preferred.
