Huntsman currently has an opening for an Account Manager that can be located at either of our facilities located in The Woodlands, Texas or Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
The Account Manager will develop and execute objectives, strategies and tactics to achieve forecasted revenue sales of Huntsman Polyurethanes products at specific Rigid Foam, Insulation and System House accounts. Incumbent will have a thorough understanding of the "buying process" at assigned accounts with the goal of maintaining and developing new business opportunities for Huntsman Polyurethanes
Detailed Responsibilities
Develop written annual account strategies to maintain existing business and obtain maximum new business at assigned accounts.Execute approved account strategy and provide leadership/management role for successful implementation at assigned accounts. Account management will include assisting customers with pursuing new opportunities within assigned markets and providing adequate training on HPU products.Develop a thorough understanding of the "buying process", an understanding of how the account works and how "things get done" at assigned accounts. Ensure all contracts are in keeping with strategic plan and endorsed by legal. Credit management duties included.Deliver competitive intelligence and analysisDevelop the life cycle plan for existing and new productsEducational Requirements & Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline with 5 to 10 years combined technical & commercial experience in the chemical industry.Working knowledge of the Rigid Foam and Insulation markets is desired.Special Requirements & Qualifications
