We have an immediate opportunity in our
Alexandria, VA territory for:
Account Manager - Northern VA and DCResponsibilities: Represent the full line of Children's Medical Ventures product offerings to customers within a geographic region.
Utilize a consultative selling method with current and potential customers.
Call on all levels within an account to determine value as it relates to the specific needs of the customer.
Responsible for pre-call planning and preparation, managing the sales call and follow-up activities, including written plans.
Understanding and have knowledge of Respironics' people and processes as they relate to customer service, product and technical support, financing and shipping.
Create mutually beneficial outcomes by helping our customers differentiate themselves and grow their businesses, while maintaining acceptable profitability for Respironics.
Requirements: BS/BA level degree in disciplines related to sales, marketing, general business, or clinical studies that are tied to the core market segments of the company.
Clinical certification helpful but not required.
Minimum 5 years selling durable medical equipment and disposables to hospitals, homecare dealers, etc. Preference for experience with selling neonatal, pediatric related products.
Consultative selling skills highly desired.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications strongly preferred; Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Experience with SAP business software, preferred.
Position requires the ability to travel extensively within defined geographic regions.
