The Position
The successful candidate in this position will be responsible for daily in-person contact with customers and prospects to increase profits in assigned territory. Stay current with changes in the marketplace and local competitors to develop marketing plans and meet specific sales goals. Communicate frequently with inside sales and sales management staff.
Responsibilities
Preparation of territory reviews to branch management. Daily contact with customers and potential new customers within a specified territory. Ability to collect, review and report market and competitive conditions on a weekly basis. Maintain customer account records and report of any changing sales conditions for office Maintain mailing list of accounts Prompt investigation of all claims emanating from customer dissatisfaction Maintenance of all expense reports, account sheets, general reports, etc. as required by Supervisor
Requirements
High school diploma College degree or College level courses preferred Excellent computer skills, Intermediate user of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Web. Strong sales experience Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Valid Driver’s License along with personal vehicle. 2-3 years outside sales experience, metals industry preferred Self motivated & exceptional organizational skills Ability to set, meet & exceed sales goals Strong drive & competitive natureApply Online Today!
