Nalco has an opening for an Account Manager in our Paper Services Group located in Jacksonville, FL.  The Account Manager will primarily be responsible for managing the wet-end chemical and pulp treatment programs.  This position requires you to provide value added service in partnership with the customer's engineering staff.    Other Responsibilities include: In addition you will be challenged with developing new business applications within the customer account. Additional responsibilities to include consulting with the plant engineering department and attending plant staff meetings. This position also requires you to provide technical services including, plant/system surveys, trouble shooting paper processes, and plant trials.  This position requires you to be on call 24/7 to address customer problems.  Nalco supports and is committed to the Nalco's Quality Improvement Process, the guiding principles of Responsible Care, and Nalco's Responsible Care Management System. The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include:   3 - 5 years experience in the paper industry as either a process engineer or sales vendor. Wet-end paper process experience. Pulp mill experience A valid driver's license and good driving record are required. Education, driver and criminal background checks will be done on all candidates of interest prior to being hired. The desired candidate will have professional experience to include: The desired candidate will have a paper science or chemical engineering degree. Tissue grade experience a plus.
