Job Summary - Account Manager, Boston North
Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC is looking for an Account Manager to join our Corporate Sales department based in the Boston North territory (based in Boston MA and covers North Shore of Boston, Maine, Eastern New Hampshire, and North and Northeast Boston Suburbs). This position contributes to the company's success by ensuring the timely and effective opening of new accounts and maximizing revenue potential within a previously established portfolio of corporate accounts, thus increasing our revenue potential and gaining market share. The Account Manager will effectively promote the Avis and Budget car rental brands, products and services to Travel Managers, Travel Agents and Corporate Executives, within the assigned territory.

Develop a thorough knowledge of Avis and Budget products Qualify and secure new business opportunities (using telephone prospecting skills and direct sales techniques) and strengthen existing accounts Develop and implement effective sales strategies that maximize sales opportunities Implement strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market penetration Deliver effective presentations including proposals to customers and business reviews to management Identify, respond and solve business issues for customers and provide win-win solutions that add value Strong contract negotiation skills - ensuring rates and contract terms to solidify pending deals Close deals and effectively communicate the value of Avis and/or Budget solutions and how they will meet the customers needs and business objectives Maintain account files, report documentation and proposals/bids using the Salesforce.com systemSuccessful candidate will possess the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
