Manages assigned customers to grow scan volume and cultivate additional referral sources. Has responsibility for managing a territory to promote Alliance services through its contracted customers. Displays determined and consistent pursuit of new referral sources. Under the direction and leadership of the Sr. Account Executive, develops and implements the account management plan for assigned customers to meet target scan volume expectations.
For Account Executives assigned to Imaging Centers, facilitating the smooth transition of responsibility for specific referral sources to the Imaging Center Manager may also be requested.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Four-year degree or equivalent in business or a related field with 2 years related sales experience preferably within the health care industry. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record within company standards.

SKILLS
Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, diagnostic imaging modality knowledge, judgment, discretion and decision-making and influence to achieve objectives. Ability to share information effectively with all Alliance Imaging cross-functional teams, imaging facility administrators, medical directors and referring physician offices. Must be proficient with office software products including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point. Must be proficient using the internet. A basic understanding of managed care and payor practices is desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Normal office activity, which includes keyboard usage, sitting, standing, walking, climbing, writing, driving, locking, dialing a phone, hearing at normal speaking level, talking/speaking clearly over a phone and in person. Lifting of less than 30 pounds is required. Driving and/or riding to and from imaging sites, physician offices and associated accounts. Walking to and from vehicle. Walking for 15 minutes at a time numerous times throughout the workday. Sitting or standing for hours. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
