Octagon is the premier global sports and entertainment marketing division of The Interpublic Group of Companies, one of the world's largest advertising and marketing communications groups.

Octagon's Overland Park, KS office is seeking an Account Executive. The principle responsibilities of this position will be to support the Sprint account team, specifically as it relates to base customer sponsorship programs with a primary focus on NFL and NASCAR. In addition, the position will support the management and activation of local corporate employee events created by the Sprint sponsorship team. This position will be based in the client's office in Overland Park, KS.

Responsibilities and Duties: Support Sprint account team; Integrate sponsorship assets back into base management via Premier Customer Tier and General Base Ensure all sponsorship marketing materials have received approval from respective property Partner with Base Mgmt to communicate sponsorship assets to customer base. I.e. Direct Mail, E-mail, Bill Insert, Envelope/Bill message, online banner ads Collaborate with cross functional sponsorship team to create exciting and engaging sponsorship opportunities Manage relationship with Vibes Media to support online development of sponsorship assets for Premier Customers and General Base Partner with Sprint.com online team to fundamentally drive customers online to receive sponsorship assets Program improvement and measurement through survey's, online click thru data, and communication metrics (i.e. click thru e-mail data/counts, EM delivery..etc.) Manage select special projects including, but not limited to on-campus Sprint employee events Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a related field Minimum of 2 years agency/client service experience Experience and success in building positive client relationships Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) Ability to handle multiple projects at one time Moderate to frequent travel and weekend work
