ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

 

Mayors is currently seeking an Account Executive for our Corporate Sales department. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing, managing and discovering opportunities for new accounts, mainly in South Eastern Florida. This position requires self-motivation, organization and the ability to take ownership of sales projections. Specifically, responsibilities include:

 

·          Prospect new sales opportunities

·          Build proposals and presentations with Birks & Mayors products and services

·          Deliver presentations in both one-on-one and boardroom style situations

·          Provide creative feedback on sales initiatives and opportunities

·          Attend tradeshows, business meetings, and training – sometimes out-of-town with overnight travel required

·          Work independently and communicate effectively with team in both Tamarac and Montreal daily

·          Business approach to problem solving

·          Efficiency with administrative tasks required

·          100% customer service focused

·          Active member of local chamber of commerce or other similar organization

 

REQUIREMENTS:          Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of three (3) years of jewelry sales and client service experience.  A college degree is preferred.  Strong time management, client service, organizational, and negotiating skills are a must.  Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  This position also requires some limited travel.
