Job Description AutoTrader.com, the leader in online automotive advertising, is looking for a competitive, articulate, assertive, and self-motivated Outside Sales Advertising Representative to join our team! If you have a strong record of prior outside sales success and the confidence to develop and maintain quality relationships with automotive dealers, then we may have the perfect career for you! Working closely with automotive dealers in an assigned territory; the right candidate will provide a consultative sales-assessment of their Internet advertising needs, and offer creative solutions to help them reach their business and sales objective. This position is based from a home office, and covers the Phoenix Arizona territory.

Responsibilities Meet and exceed weekly sales objectives Maintain a cancellation rate of less that 2% on average over a three month rolling average Ongoing account management of existing automotive dealer clients Training our automotive dealer clients on how to use our online internet advertising Consult with our automotive dealer clients on how to get the most out of their internet advertising Offer creative solutions to help them reach their business and sales objectives Develop and maintain quality relationships with automotive dealers Resign annual contracts as they come up for renewal Sell packaged and transactional products to help AutoTrader.com meet its weekly, monthly and annual growth objectives

Qualifications Strong record of prior outside sales success (3 + years) Develop and maintain quality relationships with automotive dealers Able to work closely with automotive dealers in an assigned territory Able to give a consultative sales-assessment of their Internet advertising needs Offer creative solutions to help them reach their business and sales objectives Superb communication (written, oral, and listening) and organizational skills A basic yet thorough understanding of computers and the Internet Ability to work effectively out of your own home Prior media and/or advertising sales experience is a plus Prior experience selling to automotive dealers is also a plus
