Account Executive

A software provider to national security and space professionals is looking to hire an Account Executive. This dynamic person will be very pro-active, and will be part of a strong team of leaders.

Position Description:

Specifically, Our Client is currently seeking someone who has a proven record for competency across a broad spectrum of disciplines including: Customer and Industry Knowledge Technical Insight Credibility Relationships with Key Customer Influencers

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include: Developing relationships with customers to expand Our Client’s market presence Working with the Systems Engineer to identify and capture sales opportunities within the customer base for specific software/technology Pursuing qualified leads and managing Our Client's resources by using leading edge technology to help meet challenges Partnering with Management and Technical staff to develop a plan for territory development Interacting with Senior-level leadership in the customer community to promote Our Client’s technology Achieving territory sales goals

This is a Direct Hire position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Blue Bell, PA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies on the East Coast.

Requirements:

Required Skills for this Account Executive position include the following: Must possess solid PC skills with Microsoft products such as Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint Strong ability and commitment to exceed sales targets Experience within the Intelligence Community (i.e., CIA, DIA, NGA, ONI) Software industry background preferred Ability to excel in public speaking Excellent writing abilities Capable of multitasking and directing an Administrative staff Willingness to travel locally and occasionally to St. Louis, MO Strong written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills BS or equivalent degree - technical discipline preferred 5+ years of successful sales experience
