Account Executive
This position will manage the accounts in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. No relocation provided. The Account Executive will be responsible for servicing spa accounts, presenting new product launches, new business acquisition, increasing market share, training and educating new and existing accounts, merchandising, conducting events and ultimately increasing sales within given territory of responsibility. You must be concept & image oriented, with excellent communication skills & a valid driver's license (car travel).
Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for acquisition and development of new business within designated territory.
Support and assist accounts with marketing/merchandising suggestions to maximize consumer sell-through.
Assist accounts with inventory management and make necessary recommendations to grow inventory levels and increase sales.
Assist in achieving "quality" space and location within accounts to maximize Bare Escentuals and MD Formulations positioning and branding.
Provide consumer promotional events and key brand marketing programs.
Conduct on-site training as required by accounts within the designated territory as well as perform site inspection for potential new accounts.
Inform inside sales coordinator and management of key opportunities within accounts to maximize complete brand representation and up-sell potential.
Assist corporate marketing department in gaining a greater understanding of key competitors, market trends and brand weaknesses.
Job Qualifications1-3 years outside sales experience.
Must be able to travel 80%
3-5 years experience in spa/salon sales, preferably with a skin care company.
College degree preferred, but not required.
Esthetician license a plus.
Steady and proven track record of sales growth.
Experience in developing comprehensive business plans, and understanding P&L of the region.
Must be familiar with budgets and have the ability to work with budget parameters.

Events Driven/Makeup artist a plus
In store relationships a plus
Ability to train on both skincare and cosmetics
Ability to motivate at the store level
Ability to prioritize time based on the business needs
