As a result of our continued growth, we are looking to hire an entrepreneurial IT (or MBA based) professional for the role of Account Executive in our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. What we are looking for: Is an Account Executive for Robert Half Technology, we will look to you to leverage your proven recruiting and/or technical background to identify key talent and manage the recruiting process by: Developing and growing a client base; Making telephone sales calls and conducting in-person meetings with key managers and senior-level executives, for the purpose of selling our services to prospective clients and building on existing client relationships; Recruiting, interviewing and placing highly skilled IT professionals; Taking responsibility for solidifying Robert Half Technology’s presence in the local marketplace through consistent participation in networking organizations and events; Contacting supervisors to determine candidate’s viability to support and resolve specific client needs; Coordinating strategies with team-mates to accomplish weekly business growth goals. Additionally, you will need to source candidates through our existing database and contacts, advertising campaigns as well as your own direct recruiting practices. You will manage the Internet-based recruitment process based on changing priorities and client needs, meet with candidates to evaluate their skills and understand their job preferences, and contact peers and supervisors to determine a candidate's viability to support and resolve specific client needs. Qualifications :
What we are looking for: Candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of success in IT/Technical Recruiting or as practitioners in technology positions such as: Director of Quality Assurance IT Director/Manager Project Manager Systems/Network Administrator (UNIX, Linux, Windows) Web Developer (C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, PHP, Java/J2EE, etc.) Help Desk Professional Product Manager Experience in the recruitment/staffing industry and local market knowledge is a definite asset. You should bring a high level of communication skills as well as excellent selling, negotiating and problem-solving abilities. A combination of account management, account development and/or sales IT experience is a must. IT certifications are highly desired, such as CIS, MIS, MCSE, MCPD, MCSD and/or MCDBA.
