SPSS Inc. currently seek an Account Executive-Software Solutions in either Southern California or Chicago, Illinois. The AE is the primary source of new software license revenue opportunities. They are charged with maintaining a revenue stream for technology license and service within their assigned territory, both from existing customers and new named accounts.


Responsibilities: Exceed combined quota of 1.5 million dollars Work as part of a regional team to pursue new account opportunities for sales of software, consulting and training engagements within assigned territory Identify and close additional or incremental opportunities with existing customers in territory Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and reference-ability Travel and a significant level of activity is required to achieve quota for territory Work in a professional manor with both internal and external resources Provide all reports (expense, forecast, TAS, etc…) in a timely and complete fashion Perform your duties in a professional and ethical manner Requirements include: Minimum 5+ years of outside sales experience including 3 years of those being over-quota sales experience in selling complex software solutions and services Experienced in practicing and an advocate for Solution Selling / Customer Centric Selling methodology Experience selling and presenting to VP and C level individuals. Enterprise software sales experience. Proven ability to generate and close transactions in the $500K plus range Quota responsibility of $1.5 million or more annually with consistent achievement Strong verbal and written skills
