Maclaren USA, Inc. is the distributor of premium baby strollers and accessories designed for the needs of parents and infant.


We are currently seeking an outside sales representative preferably residing in the Metropolitan Philadelphia/Baltimore area. Applicant must be a dynamic self-starter with the ability to build relationships, manage accounts and significantly grow sales volume.

 

This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and requires 4 days per week of local travel in a territory which includes Southern Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.

 

Job Expectations

We are looking for a dedicated, hard working team player who will be responsible for calling on a combination of existing and new customers covering a predetermined territory. The ideal candidate will be highly ethical, possess strong presentation and effective communication skills, and present a professional appearance and attitude that will enhance Maclaren’s reputation and image. Candidates must be detail oriented with strong organization and follow-through skills and have the ability to work independently without direct supervision and within the confines of the Maclaren USA, Inc. Sales Policies. Key responsibilities include:

·         Identify and qualify prospects, create effective presentations, and close deals within an acceptable time frame.  Obtain authorization on contracts, acquire needed information to generate proposals, prepare proposals and other required documentation, and act as a liaison between the company and customers as needed.

·         Meet defined sales/financial goals and objectives assigned to territory.

·         Manage multiple accounts of established and potential customers.

·         Manage the Maclaren Authorized Dealer Program within the assigned territory.

·         Sales forecasting for the designated territory

·         Ensure Maclaren product is properly merchandised and staff is fully trained.

·         Coordinate with Sales Administration and Logistics to ensure all customer service issues are addressed.

·         Participate in trade shows.

 

 Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or a minimum three to five years of outside sales experience.

·         Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, and organizational skills.

·         Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ability to become proficient in Navision and Demand Solutions.
