Description: * Manage a territory of clients/prospects consisting of Technology vendors (both product based & service providers)
* Meet or exceed assigned monthly/quarterly/annual quotas for exhibit and sponsorship sales through selling exhibit based sponsorships & additional event based marketing (advertising, signage etc)
* Prospect for new business opportunities and engaging with existing clients to build partnerships with the Sr. Executives. Work to align their goals & objectives with the audiences that exist at Gartners various events.
* Territory management and account planning through proper management of prospect and exhibitor database to cultivate new business
* Manage exhibit lead fulfillment process
* Execute lead generation efforts to enhance prospect database, via face to face prospect, client visits & telephone calls.
* Provide support for exhibit clients, prospects and field inquiries
* Collaborate with Sales colleagues (domestically & internationally) from Gartner events & research, to maximize the opportunity to drive revenue among current clients
* Collaborate with other event departments (logistics, marketing etc) as it relates specifically to sponsor based leads
* Write and edit letters/emails/proposals Qualifications: * 5-7 years demonstrated record of consistent over achievement of sales quotas
* Proficient in account planning and understanding of territory management
* Professional presence required to sell to C-level contacts
* Excellent communicator who is able to articulate the value proposition of Gartner Worldwide Events
* Experience in technology and/or conference/tradeshow/media sales desirable
* Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations and scheduled events
