Local Direct Sales
Sell commercial time on WVAZ to local advertisers in each of our markets. We help our clients achieve their key business objectives through the creation of unique and highly meaningful advertising campaigns designed to reach a specific target audience.
Online Sales

Advertising Agency Management
Help our clients implement a pre-planned advertising strategy by working “arm in arm” with their chosen agency partners. Learn effective sales negotiation techniques, new methods of increasing advertising reach and how to effectively maximize transactional business.

Responsibilities for Clear Channel Radio Account Executives
· Prospect and call on new accounts
· Develop and maintain client relationships through exceptional customer service
· Conceptualize radio/online marketing strategies to address client challenges
· Write and present business proposals
· Coordinate advertisement copywriting and production
· Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, time rates, and sales contracts
Requirements for Clear Channel Radio Account Executives
· Sound understanding of the Urban/R&B sell
· Possess an entrepreneurial spirit
· Ability to work effectively both as an individual and in a team environment
· Exhibit excellent oral and written communications skills
· Manage time and information with ease
· Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills
· Maintain a strong professional presence
Experience and Education
· 1 to 2 years sales experience
· Media sales experience is beneficial
· Some technology sales experience is beneficial
· A college degree is preferred
