POSITION SUMMARY:

Southern Business Communications is seeking an Account Executive to market and sell hardware and software technology solutions for higher education customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Establishing relationships with assigned schools.

·         Providing on-site client needs assessments and product demonstrations.

·         Preparing quotes or orders for prospective customers.

·         Attend and participate in trade shows and seminars.  

·         Assist assigned schools with technical issues and concerns.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years sales experience desired; selling solutions from one or more of the following technologies is preferred: Design and Integration of Classrooms, Training room design and integration, Control Systems and Video Conferencing Systems preferred.Ability to manage a customer base and maintain a quota and a territory is required. Industry sales certifications and a college degree will be a plus but is not required. Experience and knowledge of the higher education system highly desired. Looking for people with aggressive sales personality, high energy and a strong desire to be successful.
