Job Description:The Federal Account Executive (FAE) - West Region shall serve to develop new name business opportunities with several Key Accounts by proactively targeting Federal Government Agencies and the Homeland Security Market. Focus is on establishing preferred supplier arrangements with targeted prospects. Activities are coordinated with divisions, Regions, and districts.
Scope:
Federal Government and Homeland Security Market. 5-10 million (USD).
Acts as direct salesperson for development of federal and HLS Accounts in the West Region. Performs as consultant, ambassador, and customer contact at an executive level including headquarters. Defines West Region sales potential in all segments of the account. Establishes or directs others in the establishment of account plans and conducts reviews with SBT management and customers to ensure all revenue and growth goals are met.
Monitors competitor activity on account and provides feedback to management. Provides regular information to account team and partners. Becomes central channel for handling deployment of strategies and complaints. Works with operations and other functions to ensure complains are resolved.
Provide direction, advice, counseling and support to Federal Account Managers and other sales team members in managing assigned accounts. Coordinates activities with other Siemens Operating Companies, worldwide SES business units and other SBT divisions.
Participates in civic and professional organizations, workshops, discussions and seminars to maintain high level of security business knowledge and to create new sales opportunities.
Bachelor degree with an emphasis in business administration, marketing, sales, engineering, or a related field required. MBA a plus.
Seven to ten years of experience in direct sales of integrated security systems and services.
Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and negotiation skills. Ability to plan, navigate and negotiate a complex sales process.
This position will be based in West Region near major airline hub.
