Account Supervisor/Director – Public Relations
Location: Miami, FL
Responsible for public relations activities for multiple clients. The public relations function will complement other communications services offered by the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for several accounts and a team of public relations account executives and coordinators
Develops strategic proposals and presentations for clients and directs their implementation
Supervises the production of press materials such as press releases, fact sheets, Q&As, bios and bylined articles and supervises their distribution to press.
Supervises pitches or works with media relations team; Possesses and nurtures relationships with key national, regional, and local US general and Hispanic media.
Proactively develops relationships with external audiences (media, third party constituencies, business associations, influencers, etc.) to convey the client's message.
Leads/participates in event coordination.Is the main interface with clients
Qualifications
Experience in U.S. general and Hispanic media relations or marketing required
BA or BS degree in communications, advertising, marketing or business administration
MBA desired7-10 Years of PR Agency or related experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to provide counsel to and interface with clients
Ability to be flexible, motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Fully Bilingual English and Spanish
