Estimator Needed for Reputable Abatement Services Company

 

My client, a leading abatement services contractor in San Francisco, has retained my company to find them a hard working Estimator in the area, due to a recent retirement.  The company has been in business for the past 20 years, and their main focus is providing excellent customer service.  They also take many steps to provide their employees with a flexible, work hard, play hard environment.  For example, my company offers an exceptional training program that provides their people with construction expertise and information.  But they also believe that once you prove your talents and abilities, you will be offered both daily challenges, as well as room to grow professionally and financially.   

 

Job Duties:

You will prepare complete labor and material estimates You will provide complete, precise take-offs You will determine and write the scope of work for the project You will maintain blueprints, materials, and other pertinent information regarding the new projects You will work hand-in-hand with management to confirm that acute, competitive proposals are set in clear, attainable goals, as well as under budget You will correlate activities with other team members involved You will follow our company's policy in exceptional customer-service and integrity 

Job Requirements:

Qualified applicants must have strong knowledge of the abatement services industry Must have a strong background in asbestos, lead, mold, and hazardous materials abatement activities Must have project experience in commercial, industrial, public, and schools Individuals must have 3+ years of experience in estimating A proven track record in estimating is mandatory Qualified individuals must be able to travel to the project sites Candidates must have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Applicants should have good oral and written communication skills

Salary:

$90k-$110k+ DOE

Benefits include: 401k plan, health, dental, vision, paid vacation, and paid holidays
