Today, we are seeking candidates to become part of a team of counselors at a prestigious medical facility located in the Rochester and Austin, MN areas. These are long-term positions beginning mid-July, 2008.

Responsibilities include:

Working with industry leading companies to offer wellness counseling in the areas of stress management, weight, nutrition and exercise Provide behavior change guidance via the telephone using motivational interviewing techniques in counseling (clinical training provided) Document call detail in an electronic format

Skills/Experience required:

4 yr. degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Health Education, or Counseling Experience in counseling, wellness intervention or nicotine dependence intervention Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of computer operations ¡Bilingüe en español beneficioso! Must be tobacco free for the past 6 months Call center hours: Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 10:00pm; and weekends Flexibility to rotate shifts as needed due to expected periods of high call volume Must be available to work every third weekend
