We are currently seeking dynamic professionals who can lead the Shipping team at our Jonestown Distribution Center.

Duties will include supervising the Shipping department workflow to ensure optimum service levels and productivity standards are maintained.  Oversees service levels to ensure delivery trucks depart as scheduled and ensures back-up delivery service if required.  Resolves customer issues.  Conducts weekly department meetings to foster communication and discuss improvement opportunities.  Operates basic and advanced warehouse vehicles (i.e., electric pallet jack, forklift, turret truck and/or order picker).  Delegates to/through work team coach to ensure smooth processes flow. Promotes safe work practices.  Submits payroll information, and conducts reviews for large associate base.

The ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years job-related experience in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution operation.  A high school diploma or the equivalent is required along with basic computer literacy.  Proven leadership, organizational and analytical skills along with experience in receiving, shipping, stock/BIN maintenance & computerized inventory systems are essential.  Experience with engineered standards is a plus.
