MECHANICAL ENGINEER I WHO WE ARE: SATCOM Technologies Kilgore facility is a key component of the General Dynamics C4 Systems division. We have design engineering and manufacturing operation that provides satellite earth station and radio telescope products worldwide. Our VertexRSI brand is recognized worldwide for creating innovative solutions to satisfy technical challenges for a variety of needs. WHERE WE ARE: Kilgore is nicely located in the heart of the piney woods of Northeast Texas. Surrounded by lakes and woods, we enjoy nearby outdoor activities and community events yet are still within easy reach of Dallas and Shreveport by interstate. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: The SATCOM Technologies Kilgore facility is looking for a skilled Engineer to plan, coordinate and conduct engineering activities necessary to analyze, design and document engineering requirements. WHAT THE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Follow instructions of the Engineering Manager. • Develop and analyze structural, mechanical, and electro-mechanical designs. • Create, check and release engineering documents including: drawings, procedures, standards, specifications, database bill of materials. • Act as Project Engineer on special jobs. • Support Marketing, Manufacturing and Field Operations. • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
