We are currently searching for Relationship Managers for Corporate Banking Group- South.  This position is responsible for contributing to the unit’s growth and profitability with extensive focus on business origination and client relationship.  Develop and retain business relationships by providing quality services and meeting the financial needs of middle market commercial businesses.  Develop loan, deposits and other fee generating services such as cash management, trade finance, etc.  May manage a portfolio of more complex commercial relationships.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform effective calling activities on potential and existing customers and identifying business needs with corresponding sales opportunities bank wide.Responsible for prompt credit proposal to customer.  Ensure that the credit transaction is promptly processed, properly structured, priced, documented and in compliance with banking regulatory rules and regulations. Prepare or oversee the preparation of LAR’s, recommend credit facilities, ensure that quality control and risk management of the relationship are preformed.Work closely with other units, such as Cash Management, Trade Finance and other major areas of the bank to promote sales and implementation of complex financial product and services.Work with other financial institutions for loan participation, syndicated loan transactions and complex asset based lending transactions.Interact with Credit Administration, Legal and other related bank personnel to ensure credit compliance in accordance with bank’s credit policy and internal credit review.May oversee the work of other officers, including preparation and approval of LAR’s in a timely manner, credit training, allocating and monitoring workload.Perform other duties as assigned.May manage a portfolio of complex commercial banking relationships.Training and development of staff.

 

KNOWLEDGE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·                Demonstrated experience on prospect business development and customer cross selling marketing skills.

·                A self-starter, and possess aggressive and positive attitude.

·                Sound knowledge of credit structure, financial analysis, underwriting, and banking industry regulatory rules and regulations.

·                Demonstrated skills in negotiation, presentation, and problem solving.

·                Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·                Bi-lingual in Chinese/English may be preferred for some offices.

·                Minimum education or equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree.  Preferred education or equivalent of a Master’s Degree.

·                Required a minimum of eight (8) years of commercial banking experience.
