Responsibilities:                              

 

·         Successfully supervises warehouse projects / initiatives and achieve desired results / objectives and high client satisfaction within budget and schedule

·         Tracks productivity to meet company’s requirements and maximize operational efficiency

·         Trains warehouse team, ensuring completion and proper execution of work procedures, including employee development and performance appraisals

·         Manages various transportation/warehouse duties related to DOT regulations, OSHA, fleet operations and scheduling

·         Works closely with internal / external customers to support/assess business needs, define requirements and implement solutions

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following set of skills/education/experience:

 

B.S. in Operations or Business Management, Business Economics, Transportation and Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience  3-5 years Warehouse Management/Supervision and Project Management experience, from strategy development through defining scope, budget, resource allocation, plan execution and achieving results on schedule and within financial constraints; proven experience leading large projects, major company initiatives and with complex resource allocationBackground in warehousing for multiple facilities, preferably in beverage distribution, including vehicle loading and inventory forecastingKnowledge of computer software and warehouse management systems a plusClient management experience with internal/external responsibility for developing and maintaining client relationshipsAbility to effectively interact with personnel at all levels of the company to obtain, analyze, and discuss business processes and solutionsMust be able to handle multiple tasks/several projects at one timeStrong communication (written and oral) and problem-solving skillsExceptional work ethic, energy and driveAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsComputer-usage skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
