Sona is seeking proven, successful and highly motivated sales professionals for our Newport News, VA office. We offer a rewarding team environment in a beautiful spa setting. No cold calling required -- all leads generated through extensive advertising. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with an interest or background in the beauty, health and medical industries, especially high end and cosmetic account executives, counter sales professionals, health club/fitness membership sales, pharmaceutical and medical product sales representatives, or others with upscale retail or services sales experience such as high end salon, spa, hospitality (hotel or resort) or membership dating.

 

OVERVIEW: As a Sales Consultant at Sona, your primary responsibility is converting prospects for laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments into satisfied clients. This involves managing and performing client consultations both by phone and in person, in accordance with Sona’s highly effective sales approach. Successful candidates will demonstrate skill in closing, cross-selling and up-selling, and will be able to quickly build rapport with potential clients. Position requires soft versus hard sell approach, and relationship building skills. All staff are expected to demonstrate a true ownership attitude by creating an exceptional, service oriented environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Inside sales/client consultations

- Address client concerns

- Production of/participation in local marketing seminars

- Interacting with local non-competitive spas and health clubs to promote Sona services

- Manage customer referral program and professional referral program

- Provide ongoing feedback regarding effectiveness of advertising and promotional efforts

- Some outside marketing required

 

REPORTS TO: The Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

- College degree or equivalent work experience

- One-two years successful sales experience in a company with strong sales training and culture preferred

- Willingness to work some weekday evenings and weekend days
