Based in Southern California, Harbor is currently seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Product Portfolio Director, based out of its Anaheim location.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

This highly-visible position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing.  The Product Portfolio Director is responsible for the development of strategies, tactics and business practices to leverage our Southern California beverage portfolios.

Additionally, the position requires the development of organizational capabilities to establish the Reyes Beverage Group of companies as the recognized malt beverage industry expert with our targeted account base.

 

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Develop a “trade up” strategy for each channel Sales team, while making best use of various supplier resources and leveraging category management effortsCreate Beer Expert Capability (Sales training package), in collaboration with supplier and Company representatives and establish metrics to track program effectiveness and ROIDesign and execute a platform for the RBG’s optimal use of retail information resources (i.e. IRI, Nielsen, etc.) to build its Sales and market leadership strategies Lead Reyes Beverage Group California companies in the development of a direct Chain Headquarter selling strategy intended to replace/complement the existing “supplier only” call efforts

 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; Master’s degree a plusMinimum five years beverage or consumer products experience at the Manager/Director levelStrong computer skills (emphasis on Microsoft Office and retail information resources navigation) Must have robust relationship management and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to conduct C-level presentations Demonstrated leadership skillsProactive, positive, and team-oriented attitudeDetail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task and effectively manage priorities
