As the 'single site service engineer' you will perform preventative maintenance, service and repair of various manufacturers' equipment to include General X-Ray, Cath-Lab, MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound modalities. The successful applicant will have experience with the above modalities within the following OEMs / manufacturers: Siemens, GE, Lorad and experience with Philips equipment is considered a bonus!


Your Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include:* Maintain excellent customer relationships through effective customer service, communications, timely and efficient service and maintenance.* You will enter and complete service calls timely, return and manage inventory, manage test equipment, utilize second level support personnel, and provide PM documentation etc.* Show a sense of urgency about getting results prioritized by site management or the customer. * Work as a team member, while leading the team to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements related to the repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment. * May travel to customer sites other than the assigned site, zone office or identified locations. * Will be required to be available 24 X 7 via phone/pager, required to rotate in an on-call status and be willing to work a second shift if the need arises.


Your Profile:
Ideal applicants will possess: * BSEE/BSEET preferred; Associate's degree, military or equivalent in electronic technology degree.* 5-7 years experience as a BMET at a minimum servicing DI equipment including Siemens, GE, and Lorad manufactured systems in the General X-Ray, Cath-Lab, MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound (US) modalities.* Experience with the above modalities within the Siemens, GE, and Lorad OEMs; with Philips experience being a plus!* Prior account management experience is preferred - not required.* Demonstrated customer support and excellent communication skills. * Experience with mechanical devices, tools and test equipment; possessing demonstrated skills using an oscilloscope, digital multi-meter, networking tools, etc.* Experience and proficiency with electronic circuit boards, processors and computer hardware including applications, operating systems (Windows 200 and XP) and systems functionally. * The ability to lift parts or carries parts weighting a few ounces to over 100 lbs. (assistance available when lifting items over 50 lbs) and carry and/or pull 100 lbs. of test equipment, as required.* The capacity to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, and work in unusual positions requiring full body mobility; such as working from ladders or scaffolding, on occasion. * The understanding of potential exposure to hazardous physical, chemical, and biological agents. * Must have a valid drivers' license and good driving record.
