The Lead Facilities Technician, under general supervision of the Facilities Superintendent/ Manager/Supervisor. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organizing, scheduling, assigning and managing daily activities related to the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and related systems and facilities.

Must possess the ability to:
Receive maintenance service requests via the computer, telephone and/or personal radio. Assign and distribute work orders to Facility Associates ensuring accuracy, productivity and accountability. Examine building interior and exterior and determine maintenance work needed. Communicate and interact effectively with all customers, teammates and management. Manage internal/external projects including scheduling and contractor/vendor interface. Punchlist all assigned projects and tasks to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications. Be proficient in troubleshooting all Facility systems and any other assignment required to meet the changing demands of the business. Insure compliance with all company policies, building codes and safety initiatives. Provides or coordinates necessary on-the-job training to Facility Associates. Perform major repairs to all equipment and evaluations to determine the needs for repair prior to equipment failure. Comply with all defined Inventory Management procedures. Ensure set-ups are completed in advance for all meetings and special events.

Qualifications

Minimum five years experience in the Facilities Services field. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to effectively work in a fast paced Team environment that fosters Team Development. Maintain a flexible schedule necessary to support the needs of the business. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focus. Possession of a valid Ohio driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. To perform the essential functions of the job you must be able to lift, push and/or pull 70 lbs. and be on your feet the duration of the shift.
