ArcelorMittal Cleveland has an immediate opening for Engineers – MEU – Manufacturing Technology – Reliability Practitioners in Cleveland, Ohio.  The following primary position responsibilities and key position requirements are intended to provide an overview of the position, but are not all-inclusive.

Job Description:

Develops and leads the technical resources supporting Manufacturing Process Reliability so that they may successfully apply scientific and engineering knowledge in the Manufacturing Environment.  In the context of the Equipment Reliability Process, this role leads the Business Process Interface and Performance Analysis elements and supports the remaining elements of the process.

Creates and oversees the deployment of workforce plans and employee development.  Develops personnel that are capable and available to fill assignments and/or positions outside of Manufacturing Technology.  Provides education and training.  Assures the application of a risk based approach to prioritizing equipment reliability issues and leads the identification of appropriate technically based actions to mitigate risk.  Leads process for identification of equipment reliability inputs into Business Plan (risk based) Projects to improve the effectiveness of equipment maintenance programs are included in the Business Plan. Equipment requiring upgrade or replacement to address capability issues is identified for consideration in the capital plan.  Sets and audits asset performance standards based on business unit goals.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum/Basic Requirements:

5 years experience in a technical capacity or BS in science or engineering

Preferred Requirements:

10 years work experience

Education Requirements:

          Minimum/Basic Requirements:

BA/BS or equivalent experience

Preferred Requirements:

BA/BS, preferably in a science or engineering field

Other Requirements:

Ability to work in cross-functional teams; developed computer skills
